Which is why I started The Stories That Sparkle—first as a home for my writing and then as a podcast. I wanted create a space for others to share, in their own voices, the intricacies of starting over in life, building community, inhabiting their bodies, and more. In the process of sharing more of my story and listening to others share theirs, I found more of my voice and stepped more into myself.
Our stories are our greatest assets.
I want to help you share your story.
Whether you are struggling or have cause to celebrate, whether you have a community or feel all alone, you have something to contribute: your story. In it, we can find the hope of our shared humanity. Through it, “I” becomes we and “illness” becomes wellness. With it, we can use our voice and give others courage to use theirs. Because when we share our stories with all of us, we create a sense of belonging for all of us.
Because together, we bring light into dark places.
(Note: As you may already know, I currently focus exclusively on women’s stories and women’s voices. However, I plan to expand that into special series episodes and posts so please submit regardless of your gender identification).
