I spent thirty years working across creative industries—PR, arts management, tour management, radio—always in service of other people’s stories. In 2025, a year after my job ended, five years after my divorce, and two years of deeper healing work, I launched the Stories That Sparkle podcast from my sunroom. I wanted to get women’s stories, told in their own voices, on the record and out there. Later that year, I loaded my recording equipment into my car, drove from Virginia to Denver (and back), and recorded conversations with eighteen women, some of whom I knew and others I had yet to meet, in their sunrooms, kitchens or living rooms. I called it The Discoball Tour.
Sixty plus episodes in, Stories That Sparkle continues to grow, change, and evolve—just like me.
Over my career, I managed offices, planned big time events, ran an art gallery and did master planning for museums. I also co-hosted “The Hella Fabulous Show” on East Village Radio, briefly launched a collection of t-shirts under the name Fabulous Babe and was a one-time tour manager for rock chanteuse Shara Nova and her band My Brightest Diamond.
When I am at home, I lovingly cultivate a pollinator garden and host two wild bunnies in my backyard.
In other notable news, I once learned how to drive a Porsche race car on an actual racetrack, surfed off the coast of Mexico and shaped a raw emerald for a jeweler in the Diamond District of New York. So yeah, I will try almost anything at least once. Except olives. And mushrooms—of any kind.
As the first American in my family, raised in two cultures and three languages, I have lived a life full of beginnings. Which is why I’m so drawn to the stories of women…whether they are starting something, starting over or starting different. Come find me.
